This exciting new approach helps customers to maximize their Information Governance investments by accelerating product innovation which embeds digital preservation into the heart of Microsoft 365. The Role

This newly created Product Marketing role is an opportunity to make a real difference in a fast-paced cross-functional global team of product, marketing, partner and sales talent that will spearhead the launch of a new game-changing Microsoft 365 archiving and active preservation solution.

You will draw on your track record of success in B2B Enterprise Product Marketing to create a winning GTM program that articulates compelling and differentiated product and business value for Information Governance, Compliance and IT persona.

Working closely with the team and using PLG techniques you will drive significant early adoption and demand, create impactful webpages and content assets across the buyer-journey and enablement assets for channel partners and sales teams – including simple product video demos tailored for different industries.

You will be an inspiring product evangelist, comfortable working with customers to refine product requirements, show product on webinars, events and conferences and position against competition.

You will have a knack for making the complex seem easy with knowledge and skills in Information Governance, Microsoft SharePoint, 365 and Compliance Center a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Product Marketing leadership working as part of fast-paced cross-functional global Preservica 365 team including Product, Engineering, Innovation, Commercial, Partner and Marketing GTM.
  • Outline and lead the overall external product marketing launch and GTM plan
  • Create compelling and differentiated product value messages for different IG, Compliance and IT persona
  • Research and position against direct and in direct competition
  • Apply PLG principles to create product trial packages that drive early adoption
  • Develop impactful and optimized website landing pages
  • Work with the team to build core supporting assets – such as demo or explainer videos, eBooks, on-demand webinars, product sheets etc.
  • Build enablement tools and product value training for direct sales and channel partners e.g. sales decks and playbooks
  • Support GTM by presenting and showing product on customer, channel and prospect webinars, events and conferences
  • Work with product manager to engage with users and prospects to gather market and product needs

Requirements & Previous Experience

  • 5-7 year track-record of in B2B Enterprise Product Marketing
  • Proven ability to transform markets using impactful GTM for disruptive new products
  • Proven success in creating compelling differentiated content assets
  • Success in using PLG to drive rapid early adoption and demand - a distinct advantage
  • Experience marketing SharePoint or M365 or Compliance archiving - a distinct advantage
  • Experience in US Government or Regulated industries - an advantage
  • Marketing qualification an advantage
  • Degree or equivalent

Location & Reporting

Office-based in Boston MA or working remotely in the US and reporting to the Vice President, Marketing Strategy, this position includes travel to conferences, events and partners’ and customers’ premises. Some International travel will be required.
