Job description

You are a highly-driven Marketing leader who wants to make a significant impact within a private-equity backed (Series B) B2B software business poised for significant growth.

As VP of Marketing, North America you will report directly to our CEO and be responsible for developing and executing the direct marketing strategy for the entire region, including value messaging, content creation, communications (PR & social media), events (virtual briefings & webinars), demand generation/user acquisition, digital marketing operations & analyst relations.

You'll partner with the Global Marketing Strategy & Product leadership team in the UK to develop strategic marketing plans for North America to further develop the Preservica brand and execute a high-growth go-to-market plan.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan that will deliver against NA targets for qualified leads, bookings and KPIs for new user acquisition (via freemium product)

• Manage and measure marketing budget for the region – demonstrating results and ROI on activities

• Create compelling business-led value messages for NA target markets & persona aligned to corporate strategy

• Work closely with North America Sales Team to create integrated campaigns that generate high volumes of qualified leads for Enterprise SaaS products

• Develop systems to measure the success of penetrating target accounts, build and manage dashboards, leverage marketing tech stack to make strategic recommendations to the team

• Build and maintain lead nurture campaigns (Marketo,

• Align and work with Global PLG Team and industry associations to drive significant growth in new user acquisition for freemium product in North America

• Select and solidify relationships with customers/users and industry speakers that can assist with referral marketing, speaking and endorsement

• Work with major partners in conjunction with Partner & Customer Success Teams to deliver joint lead generation campaigns

• Lead and execute on the delivery of impactful marketing content including webinars, conferences, direct email, eBooks, infographics, customer wins, case studies, videos

• Find creative ways to raise the profile of the Preservica brand in North America target markets

• Own and deliver the supporting PR and Social media strategy for the region working with local agency

• Leverage marketing automation technology and incorporate digital marketing into lead generation including SEO optimized pages, PPC and Social Media ads

What You Need for this Position

• 10+ years marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Demand Generation driving B2B SaaS marketing activities

• Experience with global scale-up and know what it takes to build the North America marketing strategy and execution plan

• Demonstrated experience and comfort owning budget, revenue and pipeline number; thrive in an outcome focused environment

• An energetic leader; you inspire others to be the best versions of themselves and provide gateways to ensure success

• You are metrics-driven & results-oriented; you rationalize your decisions based on data

• You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves, get hands-on and have a no-task-is-too-small attitude

• Have designed, crafted and organized major integrated campaigns such as webinars, email marketing, social, content and events digital across the entire customer lifecycle

• You’re as comfortable with a technical piece of content as you are creative brand work

• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, able to write and brief in compelling value-led copy for emails, webinar synopsis and content pieces

• Previous experience managing contractors or outside agencies

• Strong value led copywriting – emails, webinar/event synopsis etc.

• Hands-on experience of marketing automation tools (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.)
