The theme this year explores “Navigating the Turn: Re-Appraising the Archival Career.” The archives profession seems to be in a season of change, buffeted by the stresses of the pandemic, a new enthusiasm for unions and labor advocacy, and increasing expansion into preservation and management of born-digital collections.
