Marta Crilly, Archivist - Boston City Archives discusses how they are using Preservica to teach neighbourhood history in Boston City Schools.

Marta explains how using secure public access and discovery, and collaborating closely with public school teachers she was able to create a year long neighbourhood history project, bringing the collections of the Boston City Archives to disadvantaged children across the city who are unable to visit the archives in person.

"As a city government department one of our goals has been to collaborate with Boston public schools to provide them with primary source resources for their classes. One of the insights that I've gained is the value of virtual collections"
