Historic Environment Scotland

Historic Environment Scotland was formed in October 2015 and brings together the Royal Commission for Ancient Historic Monuments of Scotland and Historic Scotland. It is the lead public body set up to investigate, care for and promote Scotland’s historic environment.

Emily Nimmo is the Digital Archive Manager in the collections team who look after material relating to archaeological and architectural field work undertaken in Scotland and Scottish territorial waters, with a physical archive that stretches back over 100 years.
