New research by the Information Governance Initiative (IGI) has revealed that the majority of organizations do not have a coherent long-term strategy for their vital digital information. This is despite 98% of those surveyed needing to keep information for ten years or longer and 97% aware that technology obsolescence puts their digital information at risk.
