Preservica Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Hires in Security and Customer Success

Martyn Simpson joins as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Ben Crees has been appointed as Vice President of Customer Success. Martyn Simpson, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Martyn Simpson, previously Preservica’s Head of Information Security, has been promoted to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). A seasoned IT and security leader, Martyn brings extensive expertise in information security governance, risk management and compliance. During his tenure as Head of Information Security, he demonstrated a proven ability to align technology operations with evolving business objectives, enhancing organizational integrity, mitigating risks, and safeguarding business continuity.

As CISO, Martyn will now oversee all aspects of Preservica’s information security governance, manage risk and compliance strategies, lead the security operations team and oversee security certifications and audits available through the Preservica Trust Center. In this expanded role, he will ensure that Preservica’s product offerings consistently meet the highest security standards, fostering trust and confidence in the company’s solutions.

Ben Crees brings over 15 years of experience in Operations and Customer Success, having led large multinational teams at Tangoe and vMOX. At Preservica, Ben will oversee the Customer Success, Onboarding, User Support, and Accelerated Success departments. His focus is on delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring that feedback from Preservica’s community shapes the future direction of its solutions.
