Preserve365 further simplifies the discovery of archived content with new browse & link in Microsoft 365
Preservica, the leader in Active Digital Preservation™ archiving, is pleased to announce further on-going enhancements to Preserve365® its embedded archiving and Digital Preservation solution for Microsoft 365.
New capabilities include additional flexibility in the way users can quickly discover content and records in the preservation archive from within the Microsoft 365 experience.
As well as using Microsoft SharePoint search to find, view and use archived content, users with the correct permissions can now also browse to the original file location in SharePoint and simply click on the unique link that was created when the file was moved to the archive. In both cases, Preservica’s embedded Active Digital Preservation technology ensures the retrieved content is always instantly available in the very latest readable file formats for the life of the record.

Optimize and simplify compliance in SharePoint
Being able to search or browse gives SharePoint user additional flexibility in rapidly finding and actioning archived records for FOI, regulatory, legal, brand or knowledge re-use needs.
Information Management teams can also optimize and declutter SharePoint environments by seamlessly moving high-value, inactive or migrated legacy content to the embedded preservation archive while still providing secure access for users in SharePoint. It also removes the burden on IT teams to find and retrieve content archived in separate systems.
Preserve365 further simplifies compliance by enabling Microsoft customers to leverage existing tools such as Microsoft retention labels, Power Automate and Copilot to standardize and automate high-value content review, retention, disposition and retrieval workflows within SharePoint.
